To say that our Annual Family Barbeque was a success is an understatement. With State leadership coming down to support the Republican Brand and the outstanding candidates we produce like Toni Boucher, Susan Bruschi, Steve Papadakos and Chris Shays, the Wilton Republican Town Committee gathered some 150 strong to share some quality time with each others’ families, celebrate the principles the bring us together and engage in team spirit. Gathered together to remind each other that we are more than a group of tireless volunteers, oft time forgotten in the hectic pace of an election cycle, but the backbone and vanguard of the Brand and its’ leaders who believe that less is more when it comes to government.
I could go on, celebrating the individual efforts of the likes of Lianne Acosta-Rua and Michael Rudolph, whose leadership on the Letter to the Editor campaigns personalize our candidates to the electorate, I could regale you with stories of Hal Clark, Marianne Gustafson, Gail Lavielle, etc., who walk door to door, weekend after weekend reminding our friends and neighbors why we bring the right experience and principles to the table, I could tell you how important our families are to ourselves and each other, but a picture is worth a thousand words………
