Wilton Republicans continued their good work over this holiday season when they sponsored a Food Drive to help support the Wilton Social Services and the Wilton Food Bank. Over two days, members of the Wilton RTC and the Republican community spent their weekend in front of local grocery stores collecting food, certificates and donations to support the local food bank.
 
With more than 170 citizens using its services, the Wilton Food Bank has been under enormous pressure to help. The efforts of the RTC go a long way in easing their burdens, and the needs of our friends and neighbors. "During these difficult economic times, many new families have come to depend on the Wilton Social Services to help them make it through. A few moments of our time is the least we can offer to help ease their burdens" said Al Alper, Chairman of the Wilton RTC. "We have a long history of supporting each other, it is in our DNA and embedding in our Principles."
